The Program
WestchesterRx is a discount drug card program that allows its members
access to affordable prescription drugs through a national network
of participating
pharmacies. WestchesterRx negotiates discounted
rates and passes those savings on to you. Get the most current discount

You can expect to save between 10 and 50 percent on your prescriptions,
depending on the type of medication you need and where you purchase
it. You can save at your neighborhood pharmacy, or for the greatest savings, purchase prescriptions through our
our LibertyCareRx Mail Option.
Eligible individuals may enroll
online, by mail or by fax.
Eligibility
All residents of Westchester County are eligible
to enroll and take advantage of the cost savings available exclusively
to members of WestchesterRx. While the program was developed to lend
financial assistance in the purchase of prescription drugs — primarily
to the uninsured, underinsured, elderly, disabled and those insured
through coverage under a major medical type of benefit-anyone can
enroll.
Enrollment Costs
The program is free to all residents of Westchester County. A family includes all members of a family residing at the same address.

Below are examples of potential savings that can be realized through
WestchesterRx. Prices are for illustrative purposes only and are
not to be construed as actual prices that you will pay. Prescription
prices change on a daily basis and vary by type, quantity, dosage
and pharmacy.
A 30-day supply of Lipitor, a cholesterol medication, costs $81.90
retail. With WestchesterRx you can get this medication for $67.26
at your neighborhood pharmacy, $54.91 through
our LibertyCareRx mail option. That's a savings of $26.99 on just
one prescription. Celebrex, a popular arthritis medication, costs $98.12 retail.
With WestchesterRx, a 30-day supply would cost $80.02 at your neighborhood
pharmacy and $54.87 through our LibertyCareRx mail option.
A member will never pay more than they would without the WestchesterRx
card.
